Cure accelerators, sometimes referred to as adhesion promoters, are designed to shorten the cure time of an adhesive or sealant. Similar to a primer, they are typically applied to a surface beforehand and can increase adhesion by acclerating the cure before an adhesive is fully absorbed. Accelerators can be a good choice in applications where it's desired to reduce labor, speed up assembly, and improve productivity.
