Purchasing Assistant Planner
The Assistant Planner is responsible for supporting the Product Planner in assisting them in their day to day duties that support the overall goals of the department. The Assistant Planner provides pricing and availability information; expedites new quote request; serves as a back-up to buyers; identifies lead time commitment issues; collects and posts team and department metrics; reviews and reconciles receiving discrepancies; reviews inventory needs and identify areas of opportunity related to shelf life/expiration issues, etc; uses available database resources to understand and correct root cause reasons; and purchases and keeps inventory of office supplies, business forms and operational items.
Required Education: Requires high school diploma or G.E.D.; and two years of purchasing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. College Degree Preferred.
Required Experience: Must have knowledge of Database, Internet, Inventory; Order Processing Systems, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
Other Skills/Abilities: Must possess strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills. Candidates must be capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced metrics based environment. Intermediate level MS Excel skill required.

Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the systems and procedures established by management for an effective quality system are implemented and maintained. This includes performing quality inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with the AS9120 Standard; maintains and monitors the EU Directive for RoHS/REACh requests; acts as a liaison between Ellsworth and its customers and suppliers to identify and communicate requirements, ensure compliance to quality management system and AS9120 Standard and resolve product and/or process nonconformities; monitors supplier performance; maintainsthe Corrective/Preventive Action Program by documenting internal and external audit findings, customer and supplier corrective actions; conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA); maintains formal Customer Complaint tracking and response system; reviews customer documentation (drawings, material specifications, quality clauses, general terms & conditions) to determine quality requirements and assist in documenting those requirements in the ERP and Intelex systems; and works closely with Operational Departments and the customer to ensure total quality performance and complete conformance with customer requirements.
This position has primary contact with the Quality Manager, all Operational Departments and Senior Management.
Required Education: A Bachelor Degree in Quality, Engineering or technical field and 3-5 years experience working as a Quality Engineer, preferably in the Chemical Industry.
Required Experience: Must have knowledge of AS9120 or similar environment and familiarity with six sigma or lean techniques.
Other Skills/Abilities: Must possess good oral and written communication skills, as well as, maintain confidentiality, flexibility and professionalism.
